Successful implementation of the RQF will be achieved only with a repository in place for each university. Whether this is hosted locally or elsewhere, it is clear that all universities will need to invest in this facility. Representatives of the open source software community and selected commercial suppliers will demonstrate what their systems have to offer.
Those who want to assess different repository systems in preparation for the RQF.
All the major open source systems will be represented as will select commercial repository suppliers.
$55 per person. This charge includes lunch and morning tea and GST.
This amount is subsidised by the Australian Partnership for Sustainable Repositories and ARROW which are funded by the Department of Education, Science and Training as part of the Commonwealth Government's "Backing Australia's Ability - An Innovative Action Plan for the Future".

Cancellations should be notified in writing to contact@apsr.edu.au. Refunds will be made for cancellations notified by April 24, 2007.
Substitutions can be made but it is preferred that these be notified well before the event.
Parking on the University of Sydney campus is PAY/DISPLAY. The daytime charge is $24.00 per car Monday to Friday.Visitor cars must be parked in numbered car spaces (not the University owned or loading zone bays) and the voucher from the ticket machine is to be displayed on the dashboard. Ticket machines are found near the main parking areas on campus and take only $1 and $2 coins.
The Australian National University is one of the APSR partners and is able to extend its visitor arrangement with the Citygate Central Sydney to cover the Adaptable Repository. Delegates are requested to place their bookings directly with the Reservations Department, mentioning the Australian National University, by telephone: on 61 2 9281 6888 or fax 61 2 9281 4237 or email reservations@ccs.mirvac.com.au. The cost is A$147.00 per room per night, (single, twin or double) with a buffet breakfast rate of A$20.00 per person, provided it is requested at the time of reservation. Alternately, there is an express buffet available for $9. All rooms are equipped with high speed broadband and public areas by wireless. The Citygate Central Sydney is located about 20 minutes walk from the University of Sydney.
